Get Involved

The Headlight Project is only able to provide the services it does thanks to our amazing fundraisers and supporters and we are so grateful for all that you do. There are lots of ways that individuals and organisations can get involved to help support our vital work in the Tees Valley.

Project Partners and Supporters

We like to think of our partners and supporters as the 5th Wheel of The Headlight Project Truck! The commitment to regular donations allows us to plan longer term strategies to achieve our vision.

We are currently working on a varied programme of options for both businesses and individuals to partner with our Charity which will be launching soon. Please contact getinvolved@headlightproject.org if you would like to find out more.

Fundraising

There are lots of ways you can fundraise for us,  and here are just a few ideas:

Make a monetary donation or donate a raffle or auction prize for one of our fundraising events. Typical prizes would be alcohol, hampers, vouchers for services & goods.

Sign up to one of our events or take part in another organised event and raise funds for the Headlight Project, for example the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, Middlesbrough 10k, Tough Mudder, Colour Run etc. We can help you with fundraising pages and sponsor forms, and merchandise can be ordered on request too.

Select ‘The Russ Devereux Headlight Project’ as your chosen charity through PayPal or easyfundraising.

Post a birthday fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram.

Run your own Raffle/Bonus Ball/Football Card for The Headlight Project.

Request a collection box and QR donation code for your business or place of work.

Ask your employer/company to match fund what you have raised.

Host your own Event

Organise your own fundraising event, for example; a ball, a music band evening, a bingo night, a coffee morning, a shopping stall event, a pub quiz, colour themed day. We can provide you with collection buckets, online donation codes and branded banners and leaflets etc. Please let us know your plans in advance and we will support you where we can.

Volunteering

We have a small team of volunteers, our “Headlight Helpers”. They are some of the brave people who have accessed help from the Project and are now in a place where they want to give back. They are all amazing and give their time to help raise awareness and funds for the charity.

We are currently working on our official programme for volunteers, outside of those who have been supported by the charity. More details will be coming soon… Please contact getinvolved@headlightproject.org if you would like to find out more.
